Reshard Radford
Pianist/Keyboardist

Reshard Radford was born in Seattle, WA.  He began his musical journey at the age of 6 years old playing the drums.  By the time he was 8 years old he began taking lessons on the piano, clarinet and one year later the alto saxophone.  Like most musicians, Reshard gained his experience in church, where he is currently playing the piano and organ for the children’s choir.

Throughout his life, Gospel music has been his main musical influence.  It was at Nathan Hale High School, during his sophomore year where he began playing for various Jazz ensembles where he received his first taste of Jazz.  During his high school career he was awarded the opportunity to play at various prestigious venues such as: Carnegie Hall with the Nathan Hale Vocal Jazz Ensemble, The Paramount Theatre opening up for Herbie Mann, Beneroya Hall with Michael Powers with the Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Alley with the two ensembles.

If you're looking for Reshard and his piano skills, you can find him still in touch with his beginnings playing in various Gospel concerts in the Seattle area.  Currently, he is playing with his very own band 3 Spot. He is a sideman for such groups and artist as Todd Johnson and Salem, Shawna Locey and Kiranda Shaune.  However, just being a piano player isn’t good enough for this jack of all trades;  he is also producing, composing and currently plans are in the works to start his own production company with some of his fellow musicians.  Above all, his education comes first and foremost as he has graduated with a BM (Bachelor of Music) degree in Jazz Piano Performance at Cornish College of the Arts.
