What's going on everyone!
I know it's been a while since you last heard from me since I graduated from Cornish. A lot of exciting things have been happening with me and my music. First to start off with, if you haven't realized that my trio which was formerly The Reshard Radford Trio is now called 3 Spot. We decided to come up with a name that suits us best. We just recorded our first EP which we are very proud of. We don't exactly know when our release is going to be but I will definitely keep you informed. If you like to know what's going with us or hear some tracks that will be on our EP, feel free to check out our myspace page in my LINKS section.
I've been doing quite a few gigs lately which most have been some private engagements but don't worry, there will definitely be shows where you can come out and show your support for me or my group. I also started teaching private lessons which is always a great experience. So if you or someone you know is interested send them my way. One last thing is I have the pleasure of playing for some very great vocalist by the names of Kiranda Marshall and Shawna Locey on separate occasions. So be sure to look them up and check them out on myspace. Well...that's all for now but be sure to come back and visit for up coming shows and information on what's going on with me. Until then have a great day and Happy Holidays!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

Hi Everyone,
I hope everything is going great for you—I’ve been doing pretty well myself, with many great experiences thus far. First, I would like to thank everyone that attended my Senior Recital and those who were not able to attend but extended their congratulations. Your cards, telephone messages and monetary gifts were appreciated. Your support and encouragement over the years has helped me tremendously in accomplishing my musical goals.
My Senior recital went great! I honestly can say that I had a lot of fun. I dedicated many hours preparing for my recital, there were some stressful moments, but I guess it’s bound to happen when you’re trying your hardest to put on a great show on your own. My recital gave me vital experience and prepared me for many upcoming performances, just in case I have to step up and do it all over again.
I was very proud to have more of my own compositions in this concert than I did at my Junior Recital. Everyone seemed to like all of my arrangements that I composed and most importantly—I liked them too. My band was amazing and I can’t thank them enough. Even though I had a successful recital, I know there is a lot to learn and grow from in this world of music. With my focus and God, I know I can do anything and achieve bigger and better things.
Besides my Senior Recital I have more great news—I just finished my B.M. degree at Cornish University and I’m performing at graduation, which is always good news. I was one of the four selected members in the music department to perform. The group that I’m actually performing with is a new experience for me. It is probably the oddest combination of a group that I have ever played with in my life so far. But the challenge has been met, and we all put our own individual taste in the music we’re performing—which has turned out to be a great outcome. Well enough about that, if you come to my graduation and celebrate with me, you will see the performance for yourself. Until next time, take care! Check out my Upcoming Shows/Events for details on my graduation.

Hey Everyone!
I hope things are going well. First off, I would like to welcome you to my very own official website where you can check out everything that’s going on with me in my world of music. I’m very excited about this and with time it will get better, I assure you.
I’m very pleased to announce that at the end of this semester (May 2007) I will be graduating with a B.M. (Bachelors of Music) in Jazz performance from Cornish University. It has been a long journey and I’ve made it this far only to continue and strive for much higher and bigger goals.
What has been going on with me so far? Well I’ve had the opportunity for the first time to play for a national Gospel recording artist by the name of Shawn Mclemore; who was the guest artist for the Seattle Gospel Music Workshop under the direction of Minister Royce Shorter.
Also, for those of you who don’t know I’m in a community group by the name of L.I.N.C. (Love in The Name of Christ); under the direction of Curtis Gamble. I just did my first concert with them a week ago. I definitely enjoy playing with this group. I see great things to come. I’m learning a lot and getting good experience.
Along with other news, I’m currently working on a cd project for an artist which I cannot name at the moment due to the respect of them not wanting anyone to know until the project is complete. So for some or most of you it will be a great surprise in the end. So for the next couple of months keep your ears open for it. But don’t worry I’ll definitely let you know when it’s out! I guarantee it’s a project you will enjoy.
Last but not least and MOST importantly to me, is my Senior Recital. I have been working very hard for my concert. Those of you who had the pleasure of coming to my Junior Recital heard a concert full of my favorite Gospel hymns; re-harmonized and arranged by me as well as my own songs. Well for my Senior Recital you’re going to get that and more; with more of my own compositions and music by some of my favorite composers that I greatly admire. I have excellent musicians playing with me on this concert. So don’t miss out. Please come and support me and my music.
Don’t forget to check my upcoming shows for more information and keep a lookout for future events with my Trio, consisting of Mike Catts & Mike Hams. Until then take care!
